The IMPRS Spring Block Course 2025 will take place in the beautiful castle Ringberg, located directly at the Tegernsee in the south of Germany. The seminar rooms offer plenty of room for fruitful discussion and the bedrooms are lovely decorated in a medieval style.
Reaching the Venue
There are different ways of reaching the venue, the most comfortable of which include:
• Public Transport available towards Tegernsee from Munich main station via the RB57 (roughly 1h duration)
• By bus: one can take the bus 356 from the Tegernsee train station until the station ”Oberhof, Naturkäserei” and hike from there up to the castle (roughly 30 min, but dependent on the weather conditions good boots are advisable!)
• By taxi: the fastest way is to take a taxi from the train station up until Schloss Ringberg, whereas the castle ususally cooperates with the company Taxi-Jasinski (Tel.: +49 (0) 80 22 / 9 50 99, but any other available taxi company is fine (cost: roughly 30 €))
Please take care when accessing the location by your own car, since the road leading to the castle can become very slippery during winter.
