Description

Welcome to the website of the International Max Planck Research School for Elementary Processes in Physical Chemistry (IMPRS-EPPC) Spring Block Course 2025: Physical Chemistry at Atomic Length and Timescales.

We are lucky to have the Ringberg Castle to our disposal for the duration of the workshop on March 12 - 15, 2025! It is a beautiful castle, originally built by Duke Luitpold and inherited to the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft in 1973, located close to the Tegernsee in southern Bavaria with a beautiful view over the city and lake.
It is fully organized by the IMPRS students from the Fritz-Haber-Institute der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, Freie Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Universität Potsdam.

A wide range of topics have been covered, ranging from the microscopic level (electronic structure, reaction mechanisms, ...) to macroscopic applications (catalysts, functional materials, engineering applications).

The Book of Abstract is available.
