[2020-10-21 10:35:50] [Markus Kristensson] I'm about to write a communication protocol to read out the dose level from our radiation monitor system using serial com. From the manual, I've  received the message format and the command codes using hex. The message format specifies the following steps: 

[Start] T1 T2 T3 T4
[Address] 8 Bit
[Command] 8 Bit
[Amount of data bytes] 8 Bit
[Data] Ax8 Bit
[Control sum] 16 bit
[Finsh] T1 T2 T3 T4

Where T is the time of one byte transfer and A the amount of data bytes.

How do I deal with the starting time of the message in stream device?
