Description
We are building a new experiment for creating quantum gases of atomic dysprosium and chromium. The two species will be coherently bind together to form ground-state polar molecules. Thanks to the rich electronic configuration of dysprosium, these molecules will have highly tunable collisional properties that will allow us to suppress inelastic molecular interactions. This will allow us to create a BEC of polar molecules.
